Two days after their wedding, Nicole and Devon met me in Alexandria Bay for bridal portraits at Boldt Castle. We wandered the grounds with that fresh newly-married glow still all over them!
Nicole wore a vintage wedding gown, paired perfectly with Devon’s classic blue suit, and the vibes were effortless, romantic, a little nostalgic, and full of that post-wedding bliss. Just a slow morning exploring the beautiful castle grounds while they soaked in the feeling of we really did this.
Boldt Castle is one of those places that brings its own story, layers of history, gorgeous architecture, waterfront views, stunning architecture. Capturing Nicole & Devon here, as newlyweds, felt special. Like we were adding a new chapter to a place already full of love stories.
Boldt Castle brings me fond memories of my own; my grandparents own a camp on Chaumont Bay, not too far from the Thousand Island area. One summer, while the whole family was gather at camp for the week, all 20+ of us took an Uncle Sam boat tour on the St. Lawrence Seaway and visited Boldt Castle.
It was such a joy to be back in such a beautiful place with Nicole and Devon. Capturing their love here was so effortless.
